Indian sub-continent

India is one of the major countries of the continent of Asia. The Geographical extent of the country in very large. The southern part of the mainland of Asia stands out seperately due to the lofty Kirthar,Suleman, Karakoram, Himalayas, Rakhine Yoma ranges in Asia. This part is known as the Subcontinent of Asia. The major portion of the subcontinent is occupied by India.Hece it is called 'Indian sub-continent.'
