Romance of Desert

Rajashtan with its legends of chivalry and valour is one of the most exciting destinations in India. Splendid desert forts, beautiful lake palaces and templates transport the visitor back into the time of royal Rajputs.


Jodhpur

Located on the edge of the Thar desert, Jodhpur, the capital of the powerful erstwhile state of Marwar is a marvelously medieval city.

Jaisalmer

An exotic little desert town-jaisalmer is a golden city, for the entire town, has been built out of the rich, golden, sandstone typical of area.

Ajmer

A Town on the edge of the desrt, Ajmer draws pilgrims from far and wide.

Places of Interest Pushkar,(11 km) has a temple in the world dedicated to lord brahma. The Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, in Ajmer is an important piligrimage site. around November each year, nearly two lakh people converge for the Puskar Camel Fair, one-of-kind in the world.


Mount Abu

Located on the Plateau 1200 m above sea level. Mount Abu is the only hill
station in Rajasthan. A pleasant wooded retreat with a litle lake.

Places of Interest : Dilwara Temples, Guru Shikhar, Nakki Lake, Adhar Devi Temple.


Udaipur


Udaipur with its three beautiful lakes and fairy-tales palaces is perhaps the loviest city in a state that has some of the most exotic locations in India.
Places of Interest : Picola lake, Jag Nivas, Jag Mandir, City Palace and Museum, Lake Fateh Sagar, Jagdish Temple, Pratap Smarak.

Jaipur

Located at the edge of the great Indian Desert, Jaipur is the gateway to Rajasthan, the land of the Rajputs, of chivarly and martial traditions.It is an unselfconsciously medieval city, with stately palaces, colourful bazaars and a fort brooding over the city. Graceful women in swirling skirts and veils of red, yellow, orange and magenta,laden with silver jawellery, straight tall men in turbans lurching carts drawn by camels, do nothing to dispel the illusion.

India is one of the major countries of the continent of Asia. The Geographical extent of the country in very large. The southern part of the mainland of Asia stands out seperately due to the lofty Kirthar,Suleman, Karakoram, Himalayas, Rakhine Yoma ranges in Asia. This part is known as the Subcontinent of Asia.
